Hello Friends~
Lately, I have been doing some spring cleaning around the house. It feels good to do this. This spring cleaning has also included my little blog. Change is good for the soul in my book and I have been feeling for a while that I wanted to do a total blog makeover. Just as we evolve as human beings... each being shaped and molded every day by our life experiences--the same could be said for our hobbies....mine being blogging.
I have had fun playing around with it this week. My new makeover includes a new look, and a new name, and-- a completely new blog address.

why cupcakes AND mud puddles you may ask??...
...it really started with a conversation with my mom. I mentioned to her that I wanted to change the name of my blog and do a makeover. She is an amazingly creative woman and a great writer so she started asking me what I wanted the name to symbolize. She asked me things that I liked and we got on the idea of cupcakes. I love cupcakes--they are oh-so-tasty and they put me in a happy, joyful mood when I see beautifully decorated cupcakes. And then she threw the name out there...."Why don't you name it Cupcakes and Mud Puddles??" I loved it! I enjoy sharing with all of you the happy moments in my life so I thought cupcakes would nicely (metaphorically) represent those happy, special times. And mud puddles...well, you know my son loves running through mud puddles. He's ALL BOY!! Whenever he can, he'll splash and jump right in puddles and get all messy. Metaphorically speaking, the mud puddles represent the more challenging and messy times of our lives--all things that I often share on my blog as well.
So my friends, this will be my last post at Casa de Mask. Moving forward, I can be found here.
